What portion of the business taxes you send to Harrisburg come back to your local community?  Not sure? You can be if you participate in the Pennsylvania Education Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC). When your business contributes to a local Education Improvement Organization (EIO) you will receive a 90% tax credit for a two year commitment to the program.

Sounds too good to be true? It's not. Since 2001, hundreds of Pennsylvania businesses have already participated in this little-known program. And yours can too!

As a qualifying Education Improvement Organization, the Children's Cultural Center (CCC) accepts EITC donations. The CCC was established in 1990 to enhance the curriculum of Bucks County Schools. We offer supplementary programs that schools cannot offer directly due to budgetary constraints. To date we have enriched the educational environment for over 26,000 students in the 13 school districts.

How to Get Started

First read the Frequently Asked Questions.

We will help streamline the application process for you; just fill out the one page form for the PA Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED). Send this application to our office by June 20, 2007, and we will personally deliver your paperwork to Harrisburg to ensure that it gets the proper attention of the DCED staff. When approved, mail your Education Improvement donation to the Children's Cultural Center within 60 days, which will send you an acknowledgement letter to mail to DCED. That's all you need to help the students of Bucks County School Districts and your bottom line.
