A major focus of The Children's Cultural Center is Community Involvement. We provide unique opportunites for the youth of Bucks County to make contributions to the community while feeling a sense of accomplishment.
The Children's Cultural Centers Youth Volunteer Program is designed to provide Bucks County's youth, ages 11-18, with the opportunity to learn responsibility while having fun with others their own age. Younger teens (11-14) can participate in a summertime program which enlists their assistance in establishing and maintaining our award winning garden. Older teens (14-18) can provide valuable assistance all year long, as their school schedules permit.
The Children's Cultural Center is proud to be a sponsoring organization for this prestigious national program.
Parents, here is an excellent opportunity to help your child toward future success. Whether on college entrance applications or career resumes, the Congressional Award demonstrates that your child is a well-rounded achiever. This is a program for youth of ages 13-23 from all walks of life and all career aspirations: professional, trades, or services. It goes beyond academic achievement; high school ranking is no barrier to your child's success. Components are:
This is an opportunity for young people, ages 13-18, to earn a reconditioned computer. Through partnerships with Market Scan Information Systems and Middle Bucks Institute of Technology, we are able to award previously utilized computers to worthy applicants.
To earn a computer, these teens must do one of the following:
