| The Children's Cultural
Center has many programs and sponsors several events, each focused on the
cultural and historical education of Bucks County youth.
Workshops On Wheels
Bucks County is steeped
in history. Our Workshops on Wheels provide opportunities for hands on
learning about Native Americans, the Underground Railroad, Architectural
fun and games, and even Dinosaurs and Fossils. The programs are designed
as an accessory to classroom learning, and travel to preschools, day care
centers, elementary classrooms, and scouts.

International Day Celebration to be held on October 16th, 2005
Celebrating the cultural
history of
our Communities...
The focus for the event is the education and
awareness of the heritages of those who share our communities. The
Children's Cultural Center is proud to be the coordinating organization
of the International Day
Celebration since September, 2000 with each
year growing in attendance and awareness.
Held each year on the property of the Middletown Grange,
International Day provides a host of cultural entertainment,
games, events, food and fun for the entire family, including the Annual
Bocce Ball Tournament and Art Contest.
The Children's Cultural Center is pleased to announce the winner of the 2005 International Day Celebration Art Competition. Karishma Pinto lives in Holland, PA, and her entry, Cultural Diversity will be the featured artwork on flyers, posters and the cover of this year's International Day Celebration program book. Youth Volunteer Program
The Children's Cultural Centers
Youth Volunteer Program is designed to provide Bucks County's youth,
ages 11-18, with the opportunity to learn responsibility while having
fun with others their own age. This summertime program enlists their
assistance in establishing and maintaining our award winning garden.

HighTech Teens
High Tech Teens is an
opportunity for young people to earn a previously utilized computer.
Through partnerships with Market Scan Information Systems and Middle Bucks
Institute of Technology, we are able to award previously utilized computers
to worthy applicants.
To earn a computer, these teens must research the cultural background of their
family, provide twenty hours of help in the Children's Cultural Center office,
OR propose an independent project. Recipients are encouraged to make a
contribution toward the continuation of the program.
Each application is critiqued by a
distinguished panel of Bucks County business people.
