The Children's Cultural Center's Youth Volunteer Program is designed to provide Bucks County's youth, ages 11-18, with the opportunity to learn responsibility while having fun with others their own age.

Student Volunteers (Ages 11-14)

This is a summertime program. Students volunteer one day per week (or 1 or 2 half-days) to establish and maintain our award-winning (Bucks Beautiful) community flower garden outside our office (across from the Court House in Doylestown). We're proud to be the 1st Place winner in the "Children's Community Garden" category for summer, 2006. No gardening experience is necessary and we supervise alternate indoor activities on rainy days. Typically 5-10 students participate each summer. To date, 94 students have donated over 3800 hours to our work.

Youth Volunteers (Ages 14-18)

This program runs all year long and provides extra hands as school schedules permit. To get started, call or Jackie at the Children's Cultural Center to schedule an interview. She'll help you find an activity that suits your particular interests and skills. Here are some ideas:

Many activities can be done independently, rather than at our office.
